OK, everyone...I am extremely emotional (all those pregnancy hormones:dazed ) But I did want to take a moment and say that my prayers and thoughts are with those who lost loved ones on 9/11/01. I grew up visiting the WTC as my grandmother worked on the 65th floor of Tower2, so I have some great memories of those buildings and the surrounding complex.

But again, my thoughts and prayers are with those innocents who lost their lives, and the friends and families they left behind.

Sorry to be so emotional, but I had to say it ;)

It's not all those pregnancy hormones...this is truly a sad day.

Please take a moment and say a pray for the victims, the families, our military, our elected officials, and most of all our country.

I feel the same way!! I was so emotional today also!! As i was driving to work, our local station honored a moment of silence.I was so happy they did this!!!! I watched the news coverage this morning, and all the emotions from 2 years ago hit me! Especially last night when I was watching the President speak on his feelings and how he delt w/ the attacks. I must have hugged my son a million times between yesterday and today.

:cry: I'm a vol. firefighter and have been for the last 11 years :cry: I pray for all that were thare.But I have A special place in my heart for my brothers the (343)And would like to say A special prayer for them. I have been saying this every night for the last 11 years and would like to share it with you .

When I'm called to duty, God,
wherever flames may rage.
Give me strength to save a life
whatever be its age.

Help me to embrace a little child
before it is too late
Or save an older person from
the horror of that fate.

Enable me to be alert
to hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
to put the fire out

I want to fill my calling and
to give the best in me.
To guard my every neighbor
and protect their property.

And if according to Your will
I have to lose my life,
Please bless with Your protecting hand
my children and my wife.

May St. Florian watch over them

Did anything take place at Disney for 9-11? I was in NYC attending memorials with our team and dogs as we were one of the K-9 teams that served there working the pile that remained. It was very emotional in NYC as you would guess. I was wondering what Disney did.

last year, they had a sort of service at noon, but we didn't attend.
