The fax number to both Boardwalk Inn the the Boardwalk Villas is 407-939-5150. Send in your request within 5 days of arrival. Any time prior to that, and your reservation will not have arrived at the Boardwalk yet, so it will be discarded. Make sure you list your arrival date, name and a confirmation number so they can find the reservation, and list, in order, what you want.

Just wanted to pass on the following from the DVC Members website on the recient change to faxing room requests, and the change to Boardwalk views.

Special Room Request Procedure

As a reminder, the established procedure and appropriate time for making special room requests is when you make your reservation with Member Services. If you have any additional requests, or changes to your original request, call Member Services directly. Please do not call or fax the resort where you'll be staying. To be fair to all Members, the only information we use when trying to honor special room requests is that which comes from Member Services.
With so many Members having special requests, it's important that everyone follow this established procedure. As you can imagine, the number of Members asking for particular rooms, views, floors, and buildings makes it impossible to honor all of the requests. We do our best to honor your requests, but please understand that we cannot guarantee them.

Disney's BoardWalk Villas Preferred View Booking Change

As part of our on-going efforts to improve the Member reservation and check-in experience, we are pleased to introduce enhanced room categories for Disney's BoardWalk Villas.
Until now, Preferred View accommodations could be for a view of the garden, the pool, or the BoardWalk. There is now a separate category for the BoardWalk View. Effective immediately, the Preferred View accommodations will be identified by one of the following new categories - Preferred: Garden/Pool View and Preferred: BoardWalk View. Both categories require the same number of Vacation Points for reservation of accommodations. At the time of your booking you will be able to request the BoardWalk View category and will know at that time if this is the room category that you will receive at check-in. If these accommodations are not available, you may request the Garden/Pool View category.
Member Services has already converted some existing reservations to the enhanced room categories, based on requests for the BoardWalk View and the date the reservation was confirmed. An updated confirmation will be sent to Members whose reservations have been confirmed for the Preferred: BoardWalk View category.
Keep in mind that inventory in the Preferred: BoardWalk View category is limited, so please make your vacation plans accordingly.

I dont like the new faxing rule, real bummer.
