Annual Pass Rates

I have a question, maybe Mickey or Jmouse could answer this one.

I called today to book 2 nights in December at AP rates. They said that every resort is sold out of AP rates! Is this it? Can I try a travel agent to see if they can get it? Or am I at the end of my rope??? :dazed

I don't think they alloted as many rooms for AP holders as they usually do. I've friends going down for two separate weddings - one in November and one in December. They got the AP rate for their November booking, but not for their mid-December booking. They are fairly upset. Did you book with a Disney certified TA? They pull from pretty much the same set of rooms as WDTC does, though. I'm sure Mickey can elaborate.

It's a shame that there aren't too many AP rates. I'm just glad that I can choose between AP and FLA resident rates.

Travel agents pull from the same room allotment as you do when calling CRO. The only thing I can suggest is to keep trying. Things change all the time at Disney Reservations with people cancelling, etc.

Thanks, will do. They actually had only ONE room available for ONE night only...Coronado Springs for $99 inclusive of all taxes. I put a hold on it until 9/25. One night is better than none..unless hubby wants to buck up and spend $800 for the Grand Floridian for 2 nights...NOT!!!!! :dazed

Thanks for the great responses so far. Many nights in October had no rooms allocated at many resorts, since the resorts were already or nearly full. I am surprised you have been having a hard time in December, though many FL residents have already booked thier nights for the Christmas Party, and that pulls from the same alotement as the AP rates.

Are your dates flexible at all? When are you planning on going?

Hey Kim, are you arriving on the 7th? I just checked, and had no problem at all getting a room at any resort, even up to 7 nights. You might want to try again today.

The regular Poly rate for the LAGOON VIEW room for my dates is $860...so it is a steal at $500! I think I am going to go for it!
