MVMCP photos

Just received our tickets in the mail yesterday (YEA!!!!). It noted that we just need to present them at one of the various locations around MK during the party to have our picture made.

My questions -

Are the photos taken outside thus giving you a different background depending on where you have your picture taken? If so, could someone who's been to the party before give me an idea of the various places we might choose from?

When we went, they were taken in front of a generic background, and was somewhat sheltered...I assume they do this in the event of inclement weather.

All the backgrounds are the same no matter where you have it taken. Each year they change the background. Those of us that have gone for many years collect all the backgrounds as well as the pins (which you get when you take your photo) for the party. You may run across us in the park sporting our collection of pins on our vests, caps and santa hats. The pins are not usually 3 inch rounds.

I suggest getting the photo out of the way first. We usually head to tomorrow land. Last year there were photos at COP and right across from AE. There is also one by Small world. I am sure there are others but I don't remember. I will try to scan last years photo and post on monday.

Thanks! I wanted to get the photo taken care of first thing but didn't want to get it taken one place and then find out another site had a background I liked better.

I'd love to see past years photos!

Last one. This is the pin from 1998. These are all I could get at. The others in my collection are packed away with my Christmas stuff.

The pins from years past were much prettier than last years. And see with last year being my first I thought it was really nice until now. Hope this years is better.

We had ours taken in front of It's a Small World. I can't recall any other locations than those you mentioned.

sandanv1- Thanks for posting the photos and the pins. I do see what you mean about last year's pin but maybe a child designed it? I do prefer the previous years' pins though but I'll be happy with whatever - it's just icing on the cake because I'll be seeing Disney decked out for Christmas! I absolutely can't wait!
