Does anybody know anything about how they're changing Swiss Family Treehouse in to Tarzan's Treehouse

I hope they don't do that. Is this a rumor or fact? I like Tarzan's treehouse at Disneyland, but I am a big fan of Swiss Family Treehouse. I would hate to see them both go.

Am I alone in this? Maybe I should add a "Defender of Swiss Family Treehouse" to my signature to show my support.

This has got to be a rumor, it just has to be!:cry: They just cannot change the Swiss Family Treehouse. Would somebody pplleeaassee say it ain't so. Not another change.:cry: :cry:

We should wear a pin that says just that. I love that place. Someone investigate. Mickey? Where are you? True or false? I don't want any more changes to the "oldies but goodies". Some of us go back and look forward to revisiting these attractions. It's a traditional part of visiting the world.

WOW that is a shock... the one thing that I remember most about WDW and they are going to change it??? I'm not saying I enjoyed it the most I was 11 at the time I would have rode Space Mountain ALL DAY, but they wouldn't do this would they???

Swiss Family Teehouse was closed last week. The signs only said for refurbishment. There were scaffolds all over, but no visible signs of a major change. I don't remember any thing saying a new ride was coming.
There was lots of discussion about Alien changing to Stitch. And CM's all said that Big Thunder was closed for routine maintenence, not because of accident in Calif.

I have posted before that The Swiss Family Treehouse is one of our "must not miss" and how I hate having to be rushed through it because of lines of people behind me .. I would love the chance to take my time and look at all the detail ..so I cant understand why they would change up something that still seems to draw so many, even during off season. there is a lot to be said for the history of this attraction too. I also have posted before that what child wouldnt love to have such a tree house to spend hours in .. the child in me sure would !!!
