Well I'm excited. I was asking about what Pal Mickey was in anther post, and was excited to find out what it actually was. How can I have missed out on something so cool. Am I that oblivious to things around me? Ahnyhoo, dznygrl filled me in. I called down to WDW today to make yet another payment on my upcoming trip and asked the very nice CM if I could pay for one and have it waiting in my room for my DD when we got there. Kind of a prebirthday thing. She put me on hold and called over to AKL and asked for me. When the CM came back on the line, she said it would be no problem at all. I was told to call the day before my arrival, give them a CC #, and they would take care of Pal Mickey with a birthday card from Pooh. They Rock!!!! I just think this is the nicest thing. I just wanted to share my joy about this because for obvious reasons I can't tell my DD. Thanks for letting me beam with happiness.:)

I'm having the same done - isn't it great what they do for you. Amy our concierge planner is getting a basket of goodies including Pal Mickey for the boy on our arrival day. It is my DS birthday so I'm really looking forward to his face when he sees him (he'll be nine). That's him next to Tigger on my avatar.
I getting so excited now I can't stand it. Watching Wayne Brady all week at disney didn't help it just made me miss it more!!! I want to go soon - like tommorow.

That is awesome. Your DS will love it. Yes, the things they will do for you is amazing sometimes. It's also exactly what keeps me coming back. They kindnesss and special treatment they give to you just to make your trip all the more special.

I so wish I had bought a Pal Mickey on my trip. I thought I wouldn't want one since we had no kids with us. But, the more I walked around the parks and saw and heard so many of them the more I knew I had made a mistake!:( Next trip it will be the very first thing I do. Enjoy yours and your trip!

I am so tempted by Pal Mickey. But I am worried that I will be the one carrying him around all the time. Ever notice how moms carry everything? I need your input...

Buy it!They have clips so you can attach them to your belt or sometihng. They are not that big. People were having so much fun with them! I saw more adults with them than kids! I so wish I had one. Your kids can play games with him after you get home too!

I insisted on carrying Pal Mickey around, I LOVED HIM!!!! anywho, I bought a water bottle strap and carried him around that way, so I knew where he was at every moment, When he has something to say he vibrates so I knew when it would be (I could feel the vibe)

I think this was one of the best things I bought all trip!!!

Garada - I am dying laughing here. I was joking with another Mom about our Pal Mickey's. I ended up carrying mine all the time, and she hers for her family (oh, the torturous grammar!!) Anyways, while we were joking about seeing only Moms carrying it, we saw a Dad with one, who was quite insulted by us, and said he *loved* Pal Mickey and no one made *HIM* carry his.

The kids had fun, but I don't think they should have raised the price. Mine sits on my desk now, but he always goes back with us. He might just sit at the hotel, but at least he's there. :D

Well, I now know that I have to add $60 to my trip expenses and that Pal Mickey will be the first thing I buy when we get to the resort. After reading all the posts, how can I not get one!:) I will have to fight my DSs for the honor of carrying him.
