I hereby apologize to the Red Sox fans for this, but I am a bit excited!

What a great game last night! My husband was going nuts waiting to see what happened. And HOW DRAMATIC was that!

And I still get a laugh watching the sportscaster trying to do his post-game interviews while dripping with champagne. (Although the guy in the Marlins' room looked even funnier with champagne just pouring off of his face which doing the interviews.)

Hey - what do you want? I am easily amused!

Go Yankees! (Again, sorry to the Marlins fans, but if I gotta live in NY, I am going to root for the Yankees.)

Since I am a Mets Fan, it really didn't matter to me. I also wanted to see the Cubs play in the world series. Since it is FL, I just want the local team to beat FL. Whether it was Red Sox or NYY, didn't matter. As long as FL loses. Go Yankees!

Being a White Sox fan, I was hoping to watch at least one Chicago team make it to the WS. But since the Marlins were tough enough ( or lucky enough ) to beat my DD's beloved Cubbies I would just as soon see them go all the way!

Besides, don't you think NY has enough trophies in their case?

Harry: I know baseball is a new past-time up here in the mountains and we have a ways to go, history-wise.:D :D
Fortunately, we have a couple of other past-times that help pass the cold winters, namely football and hockey. LOL :D :D

Ok One big delema in my household I love love love the yanks and some of you know but my husband loves the marlins and I just like watching when they dont play the yanks !!! so its a friendly rivalry in my house hold but if either team wins I will be happy because they both played so well to get there I know you cubs and redsoxs fans are going to disagree but thats how I feel !!!

I was hoping for a soxs, cubs series. We'd have the whole country watching that one, now it'll just be the east coast.

OK, I must speak up for my beloved Marlins.
Beyond all odds we are in the World Series. We the underdogs of the season, Wild Card, and playoffs, have made it. We have endured the entire world expecting the least of us, and the media putting us second behind every team we played, even when we won!

This series will come down to skill. The skill of the pitchers to rack up the K's. The skill of the players to make those plays. The skill of the batters to place the ball in the hole or even over the fence.

I will be cheering for my Marlins.

May the best team win!
