Aaaaaa... We're floating away!!

We had a great summer and now we are paying for it.

Fortunately our county is not under any flood warnings, but geez it's wet even for us.

Makes me really want to hop a plane for DisneyWorld!!!

Thanks for letting me vent. Glub Glub Glub...

I am sorry to hear thigs are wet for you. We have had a beautiful fall. We have had many, many great days this year. Today it was 87 here, a tie for all time high for this day. I hear it is going to cool off a little this week but hey, at least we tied for a record high not a record low today, I'll take it.

I feel for you. Keep your head above water!

And, if there's any way you can think of to get some of that our way, we're suffering our 5th year of extreme drought in the West. Most of our reservoirs are at 50% or less capacity, and we're going to be in real trouble if we don't get some of your moisture before next summer!

I just saw footage of Seattle on the Today Show. WOW, you guys have had a lot of rain! The streets were flooded up to the windows on cars. I am sorry to see that kind of damage. Good luck, I hope you stay safe.

I feel for you mmouse67l, and I know exactly how you feel. We just got through a summer of horrifying forest fires and now it's a fall of flooding! Well, it's suppose to be a West Coast Rainforest...RAIN being the operative word:) Sending you some pixie dust for sunny WDW dreams!

My sister is in the Okanagan and was on evacuation notice all summer. WHERE WAS THE RAIN THEN?? Try to stay dry! My niece in Vancouver says it is unreal! Hope dry pixie dust is coming your way.

llama,
I know, I couldn't believe how we could just switch over like that! I personally am not in living in the Okanagan area but have friends and family who do. Still, the events hit very close to home and now some of the outlying areas to Vancouver are hit with flooding...well, rain down here means better skiing on the mountains this winter! Gotta look at the bright side I guess:)

Too bad we can't share our weather. We are having near perfect weather here in Alabama. Hight 70's in the day and low 50's to high 40's at night! No rain, clear skies! Thank you Lord!
