My secret is out of the bag...

Well my WL surprise for my DH is out of the bag.....he found out. A few weeks ago we decided to change from our AMX card to an AMX Blue card (I forgot about this when I made the ressie). Well in all my wisdom I put the WL on the AMX card. The blue card came yesterday and DH calls to activate it and deactivate the regular AMX cards. Since I had paid it off already DH assumed there was no balance and then the AMX guy said you have a balance and it will come with the new billed. DH said whats on the balance and the guy told him disney - he promptly told them I'm not staying at the disney on the 8th must be a mistake. Thanks God I arrive home from DS Cross Country match before he cancelled the ressie that he didn't know I made. Anyway we had a good laugh (he said I really wanted to stay at the GF - I said too bad it's booked) So now he and I are planning a romantic dinner for two that night. Right now it's between Narcoosees, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Artist Point. Any suggestions DC'ers??

Sorry to hear that your surprise has been ruined, but you will still have a wonderful time. Since you are at the WL, go for Artist's Point, you won't regret it. I really enjoy myself everytime I eat there. Then, you can go for a nice, romantic stroll down by the lake, or over to Fort Wilderness for a campfire or outdoor movie.

Awwww....I'm sorry to hear he found out. I'm sure he was still surprised (clearly, he had no idea)! I loved the WL, so I can't wait to hear how ya'll like it! Have fun!

Too Funny!

I booked the MVMCP for our stay and it was too be a suprise for my DW and DD. The tickets arrived the other day in a pretty non-discrept envelope. As my DW and I are sitting on the couch opening mail together she says, "What is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?" I looked at the envelope in her hand and just cracked up. Oh well, at least it will still be a suprise to our DD.

I just recieved my reservation confirmation in the mail today. Guess I don't have to worry about hiding it from him now. Harry to bad about your MMVMCP tickets - at least we both tried right!!

Mickey thanks for the info I wasn't to sure about the Artist Point what's the decor like? Menu looks great, at least to me. I'd like a quietier place so we can relax a little before the fun begin the next day.

Dana he was surprised - very surprised. He said honey do you want to skip the parks and just hang out at the fancy hotels. Now that's not happening!!! I never realized he likes the GF so much. He's so big and rugged I thought for sure he'd think the GF was too girlish for him (with the Victorian theme and all).

Sorry your surprise for your DH was ruined. Thank god the reservation didn't get cancelled. That would have been a mess. I really don't have any romantic suggestions for dinner for you. You could try for dinner at the Contemporary restaurant where you can see the Wishes fireworks show at MK. That has to be special. I think it's the California Grill (someone correct me please if I am wrong). I know it's one of the restaurants in the Contemporary.

We booked the Artist Point for dinner. Tell Minnie her review in review central sealed the deal. Even though it's no longer a surprise I know we are going love spending the evening there and it's nice because it's so totally different from the BC.

Maybe after staying in the villa I can finally talk DH into buying a DVC.
