I knew there was a reason why I didn't want to borrow a friend's digital camera for the trip.
I was just planning on buying one, but they thought I was crazy for doing that and convinced me to not get it.
Well, I thought everything was fine snapping pics left and right (including this great one of a lion roaring on ak safari).... And then we get home to download them.
The memory card was damaged and now I have all of 20 pictures out of the 100+ pics that I took! To make matters worse, I have to wait on them to get the pics back and I am running out of patience!!!!!:devil

I'm sorry. That stinks. I can see why you are running out of patience. Don't kick yourself too much. This will give you an excuse to go back thre quicker and get more pictures. Ok, lame pep talk. I'm not camera savy and have no quick fixes for you. I always use a disposable ol'camera and just grab up some prints. I'm stuck in the dark ages I think.

Sorry to hear it. I had a problem with a friend's camera that I borrowed on a trip many years back. Since then, I only use my stuff so I know what to expect.

Hopefully most of your best pictures are okay. Shouldn't take long to get them back. Just a few minutes to upload them, no?

Im sorry Aurora! Thats a bummer :cry: . It's problems like that keeps my family from buying a digital camera, I see no problem with the normal zoom-in/out and flash cameras! lol. But Dana did have a point! You have to go back now!

We do have a Digital, but DH handles it. Since he understands it better than I do. Infact, he says he has to get it ready to go for our trip in Nov. Whatever that means!!!

I really enjoyed our 35mm camera, but it was old, and I guess age catches us with everything, even a camera.....:hmmm JOANN:)

Aurora: That is a terrible shame that so few photos survived. We got a digital (Kodak DX3900 with Docking Station) 3 years and 2 wdw trips ago and I love it. Our 35mm has also been retired. The ability to tweek the photos before printing and select only the ones we want to print is just great.
On the theory that every dark cloud has a silver lining, I guess you will just have to go back to WDW and stay longer to replace all the pictures that didn't survive. At least that's what I'd tell my DW we needed to do!!!.
