Abbreviations???

Hello all,
Can I ask a favor? Could someone post a listing of what some of the abbreviations on the boards means? For some of us State and Federal employees, we can be a bit dense sometimes. Here are a few I was scatching my head about.

DVC.......Message is talking about Resorts
DH and DD........When refering to other Disney Club (DC, I figured this one out) family members.
MVMCP..........Events Listing. Any others would sure help out.

Okay,here are some:

EE-early entry; ToT-Tower of Terror;DC-Disney Central;SSE-Spaceship Earth; TT-Test Track; MS-Mission:Space; WS-World Showcase; There are many more that I can't think of at the moment. When you come across one that you aren't sure of,try thinking of all the attractions or resorts.

No you are not dense. I had the same trouble. Still can't figure out some:

DVC is Disney Vacation Club
MVMCP is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
COP is Carousel of Progress (that one comes up frequently)
POR is Port Orleans Riverside
BC is Beach Club
OKW is Old Key West
MNSSHP is Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party

What else can anyone add?

Here's a few

PDD = Post Disney Depression
RnR = Rock n Roller Coaster
CRT = Cinderella's Royal Table
ToT = Tower of Terror
AKL = Animal Kingdom Lodge

We make em up as we go along I think.....kidding all. I think I may be over tired. I'm getting a case of the sillies again...look out!:laugh :laugh

DH - dear husband
DD - dear daughter
DW - dear wife
and so on, you get the idea

You can always use them as

Dh = Disney Husband
DW = Disney Wife and so on

This is what I thought they meant until someone cleared it all up for me. I still think of it as

DD = Disney Daughter

It's stuck in my head now.

Until now, I too thought it meant Disney Wife, etc. I kind of like that better!

My DW and DS went to WDW and stayed at AKL. We loved TOT but had to get a FP.

Later we went to MNSSHP at MK via the TTC.

But my favorite part was CSM at DQ, the CM's were great!!

Now that I'm home I have PDD. :cry:

Alot of these abbreviations are used in chat rooms...that is where they all started. (DH, DW, etc.) DC is actually DisneyCentral not Disney Club.

LOL is the one I tend to use the most. Laugh Out Loud.

There is also ROFLMBO = Rolling on floor laughing my butt off. I like that one alot too! :)

Once you get used to it, you can practically think in the abbreviation shorthand. Just let us know if we refer to something you dont understand! We will all be happy to fill you in!
