I'm back from WDW!

I got back from a wonderful week at WDW this past Tuesday. Just getting back into the swing of things. If all you DC'ers going to the DC Meet have half as good a time as I did at my weekend Internet Meet at WDW, you are going to have an awesome time!

Be sure to see Mickey's Philarmagic and the new Wishes fireworks show - they are both awesome!

Epcot was very crowded on Saturday because of the Food & Wine Festival. I heard Sunday it was much better there. I was back at Epcot on Monday just to ride Mission Space. A lot of people were coming into Epcot. But at 11am, Mission Space had a 35 minute stand-by line with the FastPass return time at 11:30am.

MK was very crowded Saturday night because that was the only night Spectromagic was running. I don't know how the crowds were throughout the park as we only went over for Spectromagic and Wishes.

Sunday at the MK was very manageable.

The best viewing area for Wishes is on Main Street, anywhere near Casey's Corner down to just beyond the Bakery. The CMs keep the traffic moving on Main Street til just before Wishes begins so you can't really stake out a spot. We just hung out along the sidewalks and then moved into the street just before the fireworks show started. Great, great show. Thousands of times better than Fantasy in the Sky! To truly appreciate Wishes, you must be in the park where you can hear the narration throughout the show.
