I'll take you up on that internet beer!!!!:laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh
Considering both schools are great Catholic colleges, I think the Lord likes both schools equally. But, I would have to say the Lord is pulling for ND, since Boston beat ND last year. Besides there are too many prayers being offered up in the grotto. He can't keep ignoring our pleas!!! GO IRISH!!!! Old Notre Dame will win over all, While her loyal sons are marching Onward to victory!!!! |

Jeff,
Hey Jeff if you have any pull with the "big guy" could you put in a request from me. My sons team is playing Holy Cross tonight and I need a plug for the team to win. We play a lot of catholic schools (which can recruit players because their private school) so this will be a tough game - we're not favored to win (which will make us 6-3). Interesting note I don't know if you remember Irving Fryar who played for the Eagles some years ago then went to the Redskins. Well his son Irving plays for us and his other son London plays for Holy Cross. Fryar senior also coaches at Holy Cross. Wonder who Mom Fryar is going to root for??? Okay, sorry for the shameless football plug. paula

Paula... I, for one, always love a shameless football plug!!! ;) Like... man, it would be great for our Gamecocks to beat Vanderbilt so we can be 5-3 and only need one more win to go to a bowl game.... :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh
Here's to all of us... May the best teams win!!!!! ![]()

rlander ~ we have went up for 3 games this year so we are loving it. Wish the season was going better but I'm really hopeful about next year. This year isn't nearly as bad as I thought it might be.
I hope you have a wonderful time at the Navy game. We are passing on the rest of the season. It just gets too cold for the lil fella.

I will have an Amstel Light, Please!
Nice comeback Jeff, it was a good game to watch. A true freshman quarterback, not many of those around! And concerning another fan of the Irish, The recruiting laws of the Irish are getting ridiculous, the college and Doggiesmommy should be investigated!!!

Jeff,
We lost too. Even the good Lord above couldn't have helped us - we were our own worst enemies. Lots of senseless mistakes. Oh well, next week is another catholic school Paul IV and another chance to clinch a playoff spot. Thanks for the supports. Anne how did your team do? Paula

We won!!! YEAH!!! One step closer to a bowl game for the South Carolina Gamecocks. We've got Ole Miss this weekend at their place so I have a feeling its gonna be kinda tough. A bowl game for the Gamecocks means a free vacation somewhere for our family for those who wonder why in the world I would care. ;)
Have I told y'all about the tattoo challenge??? :o Hmmm.... on a dull day in our office, several of the secretaries and a couple of other folks were sitting around discussing tattoos... I don't remember why. Anyway, we all decided that if we went to a bowl game all six of us sitting there would go get tattoos. Yes.... all six of us..... including a sports information rep (29), the assistant director of the booster clue (28 - male), Sr. Associate Athletic Directors assistant (32), our receptionist (53), the Athletic Director's assistant (63) and myself (37). :bandit We'll see what comes of it when it gets time to pack up in the car and head to Augusta. LOL!!!! ;pinch:

Anne,
I so happy you'll won!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for that bowl game - too cool!!! I'll be traveling through your way on my way to disney in just 10 day. We're stopping to see family in North Carolina (with an overnighter) and then I'll be speeding through South Carolina (I'll wave and honk to you). We be in the Silver Town and County Minivan with of course Jersey plates. Be sure on your December trip to New York to wave - I'm just off Exit 7 of the NJ turnpike or 295. In fact you can see our farm from both highways. Paula
