scrapbooking at Disney
:) Okay, First I found Disneycentral and now I have found the scrapbookers...Could I be more hysterically excited right now???? Okay, so my first question is that somewhere...and I have no idea where...I thought I saw something about scrapbooking stations at Disney? Can anyone verify this?
Second, where is the best place at Disney to get supplies? I have been to one shop at DTD. Are their others? I have many many years of Disney scrapbooked! And can happily state that I am caught up on those (due to a much greater motivation) but I am years behind all my other pictures! I especially love to do paper piecing with Disney!!!! I want to hear from any and all of you scrapbooking Disney fans!!!!!

Welcome kimluvsmickey!
I enjoy scrapbooking too (or should I say getting scrapbook stuff since I don't seem to have the time to do much). We were at WDW in 2002 and the only store that really catered to the scrapbooking at that time was a store in Downtown Disney. I can't recall the name of it right now though. There are some supplies at the World of Disney and some other shops around the WDW resort. A scrapbooking station would be cool. If anyone who has been there recently knows about this, I would certainly be interested as well since we're going in 2004. |

Okay---I have not been there yet but have it marked on the MUST DO list for my upcoming trip in December. It is at the Market Place and called Disney's Wonderfl World of Memories. A store of Scrapbooking stuff. Can't wait. Spending my Christmas money there from "Mom." Will let you all know what it is like when I get back.
:heart :) :) :heart Becca

There are scrapbook supplies at most resort gift shops now. There are lots of supplies at the Memories store in DTD but no actual scrapping. there are also supplies at the major stores. And I checked everywhere as I seem to think there were different supplies offered at different stores (I found a halloween kit in the DTD christmas store that I didn't see anywhere else). Good luck.

Hello. My name is Mickeymac and I'm a scrapaholic...
I love the World of Memories - they used to have scrapping times and will hand out samples. Sandanv's right, do look whereever you go. Most of the stock is the same across property, but you will find some 'surprise' elements all around. I *love* the new Christmas album that is coming out. Wish I'd found the Halloween stuff. :( A couple of women locally just opened a store for scrappers - whollyscrap.com, and they've got a ton of Disney stuff there, I can spend hours at their store! :D (and I love the name!) I was thinking of setting up a class for just disney scrapping. That would be fun! :D

Christmas Disney scrapbook?
A new Christmas album for Disney? How perfect since that is when we are going! Is that something there or that you order online?

You can get it there - which I recommend since they are adding new scrapbookign components to it throughout the months. There's also a paper pack with ten pages of 12x12 paper, cutouts and frames, stickers, and something else that escapes the grey matter. It's designed with the theme of the year in mind, and dozens of Disney characters. You can sort of get an idea of what it looks like here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=11789 but it's not a very good picture.
You can order online and have sent if you wish, through WDW Merchandise 407.363.6200 or by mailing wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com

I'm glad to see so many scrappers on this site. I just got back and I'm happy to say that just about every shop has scrapbook supplies. They don't have a huge selection, but I spent plenty of $$$ on my supplies. Every hotel has stuff, shops in DTD and mainly the Disney Art shop there caters to scrapbooking.
Hope this helps.
