Just another one of those Disney moments
I just wanted to share a special moment with y'all... ajbdk5 (Amy) was sweet enough to get my kids' costumes at her store in Chicago and mail them to me since they had sold out on the website. (YOU are sooooo awesome girl....
 ) Anyway, ever since we opened the box, my #2 son Gordon (6) has had a hard time taking off the Peter Pan costume complete with dagger. When I got up this morning, he already had it on. I, of course, warned him numerous times that if he ruined it today, he wouldn't have it for Friday night. Much to my chagrin, my words are lost on him. Frustrated, I just let the issue drop.  This little boy who spends most of his time trying to convince me that he is actually 18 came over and stood over my shoulder as I ate breakfast. I looked at him and said, "Can I help you?" He looked at me and said, "Yeah, you can give me a hug." I smiled and took him in my arms. As I was hugging my little Peter Pan, he looked at me and said, "No matter how big I get, I'll always be your little boy." :cry: :cry: :cry: Did you ever have one of those moments that you wish you could just bottle up and open when you wanted to??? I will never forget my own Peter Pan telling me he'll never get too big for my hugs. :love:

Oh DisenyAnne cherish that precious moment. When they are little you think it will be that way alwyas but it won't be long before they will be coming home from college with a boyfriend or gilrfriend with them. Thanks for sharing.

That's so sweet. Don't you just wish some time you could freeze them a that age and never let them grow-up. Hope the costume makes it till Friday. Paula

How sweet, Anne!! I love those moments with kids. I too wish I could we could bottle those times and keep them forever. Kids grow up way too fast, I can't believe my little guy is 5 already.
