I applied for a disney charge card last week and I am praying that I do get one and that it has enough on it for me and hubbie to go on our next trip in April. Well, I know that right now if you book a disney vaction that you don't have 6 months of interrest, we where only going to be useing it for the trip and whatever we bought at disney. Now what is the catch, does the vacation package have to be through disney itself? Or could i get a vacation package going to florida through someone else. What i am saying is that do I have to go through disneys packages like stay at there hotel or could i go to a off site one and still be able to get the 6 months of no interrest?? I need help I am confused.

Hey cutiebootz... I am fairly certain that the special interest package must be used for booking a package through Disney Travel. There has been alot of confusion involving the card and the interest free package, but I feel pretty confident that you have to book through the company's package.

The Disney Visa no interest offer for trips is for Disney trips only. It is supposed to be one of their Disney perks. Be warned that there is an issue with the 0% interest that if you charge anything else on the card, the stuff with the lowest interest rate will be paid off first while the rest earns interest.

There was a post about using the 0% for a trip and still using your card in the meantime. You may want to search for that. I think the poster was skwak (or something like that, not sure of the spelling).
