disney store vs disneystore.com
Hey everyone, I was just online at disneystore.com and they are hiring for the holidays!!!! I live in the chicagoland area and our disney store just re-opened a little over a year ago or so and it is totally clothes, toys and stuffed animals!! with some halloween costumes, my question is are they all like this? I remember when they had snow globes and candles and holders fun things and pretty things not just clothes and toys. I am considering applying for a job because of my PDD I thought this may help a little. so if anyone has a disney store by them that has more than mentioned above please let me know (the online store has tons of different things unlike the store itself!!):hmmm
Thanks all, and have a Great night!!!! P.S. everyone here at disneycentral have helped me with my PDD just reading trip reports and anything else keeps me going!!! can't wait for the chicago meet and greet!! Nov. 22nd Bye and Goodnight!!!!;) Jacki:)

I live in Missouri near Branson and we have a Disney Store in Springfield which is pretty much children's clothes, stuffed animals, toys, a very few movies & CD's and maybe 1 rack of adult clothes.
I too miss the days when you could get a better variety of stuff at the DisneyStore. I especially miss the watches. Every year for Mother's Day my DH and DD would pick me out a watch. I haven't been able to get a watch for Mother's Day in several years. If I want a watch I either have to wait until our trip to WDW or buy from ebay. We do have a DisneyStore Outlet in Branson and they have more of a variety of things since it's an outlet for DisneyStore magazine. I have applied several times for Christmas help at the store in Springfield (I work in Springfield anyway) but I guess because I'm specific about the hours I could work they don't seem to call. I have a full time job that I dearly love and I just would like to have a little extra income so I could put toward our WDW trips and what better place to work than DisneyStore. Oh well....Maybe they'll get the idea that we wish there was more variety in the stores and go back to that.

My local Disney store is very small and they have just started to put all of their Xmas plush out. They still had quite a few costumes out. I askes the manager why they don't have all of hte other stuff that they use to (calenders and suc) and he told me that after Halloween I would see the regualr items they use to have. So, I'm crossing my fingers. I have to go check out disneystore.com. I want to get DD some Disney themed clothes for Xmas to wear on our trip and my Disneuy store NEVER has a kids (14-16):devil So, internet shopping I will go...hi ho hi ho.
