Hey all you Kingdom Hearts fans out there, Kingdom Hearts II will be released some time in 2004. Also a GBA version will also be available in Japan soon. It will be called Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

We are still trying to complete the first game. We are very close. Has anyone completed the game yet?

In case any of you have never heard of Kingdom Hearts, it's a role playing game for Playstation2. It features Donald and Goofy helping to release Mickey from the villians. This is not a toddler or kiddie game. It is for serious gamers and requires a lot of skill.

:nooo: I thought Kingdom Hearts was rated "E" for everyone, I just bought this game yesterday as a Christamas gift for my DS age 8.:nooo: Is he too young? I am new to Playstation land, what games would you guys recommend?

Hey Amy,

Your 8 year old will be fine playing Kingdom Hearts. It is such a cool game. Just about any Disney character you can think of will pop up in this game.

When I think of Donald and Goofy in a game I would think it is a toddler game. It is not. It is fun and challenging. Perfect for an 8 year old.

Your son will love Kingdom Hearts!!!! My kids do!!!

No, we do not have the Disney skateboard game. Jake loves his sports games. He has NCAA Football 2004, NCAA Basketball 2003, FIFA Soccer 2001. If you get a sport game, the best are EA Sport games. He also just bought Disney's Haunted Mansion. He likes it but is stuck right now. Jake likes to play a game for a while then trade them in for new ones. The store we go to gives us pretty good prices for his old games. That makes it easier to buy new ones. Oh yeah, He also has the Harry Potter games. He wants the Quittich (sp?) one for Christmas.

Abby has Playstation 1. She loves Disney Racing. It is a ton of fun, but the graphics aren't as good as PS2 games. The race tracks are based on all the rides at WDW. It also plays all the theme songs to the ride.

My boys like the Kingdom Hearts too. Very challenging game! Their favorites though are the Madden games. Boy, those look so realistic! My son almost picked up the Haunted Mansion game yesterday, but we couldnt find the preview. Is it a good one??

I only saw my son play for a few minutes. It looked sorta boring to me. Not much music or fast paced action. Jake said he likes it, but he is stuck on a level. There aren't too many games he doesn't like.

Oh Amy, stay away from the Grand Theft Auto games. No matter what your son says about them, they are no good. No child should ever play these games.

I wish they would come out with this game for XBox!! Santa brought us an XBox last year, even though I asked him for a Playstation just so I could play Kingdom Hearts!!

I guess I'll have to get my own!! :laugh I cannot get hubby and DS off the XBox half the time anyway!!!:laugh

Hey Jeff, our two boys Leonardo and Daniel play this game ALOT! In fact when we were in Disney a few weeks ago we were always searching for anything concerning this game, with no luck! I will have to ask them how far they a gotten with it. Good Luck with Navy!

We love the game and we are very excited about the sequel. My guess is with the success of the game and the rise in popularity in Japanese animation; Disney will make a movie based on the game. That would be cool!!!!!

A movie involving MANY Disney characters searching for Mickey Mouse is in the early stages. It is very possible for the 50th Animated release which isn't too many more movies down the road. Although it won't be Kingdom Hearts, it would be a similar idea.

-Unfortunately this is a proposal too far down the road to "know" for sure. But it is being tossed around. They want something major for the 50th Animated Feature and they would like to involve the Mainstream characters in a movie again.

Home on the Range next year is the 43rd Animated Feature.
