Anniversary Trip

We will be arriving at DW on our anniversary in a couple of weeks (with kids). Any ideas for something special? A couple of other mentioned EXPENSIVE restaurants, but we can't blow our whole budget on one meal! Any other ideas?

Are you staying off site again? If staying on site, be sure to let the resort know at check in that it is your anniversary. Also, let them know anywhere you eat. If possible, how about Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner, during the fireworks? Or how about the Ice Cream Social at the Garden Grill in the Land at Epcot, do the Re-Hitching Ceremony.

I loved the ice-cream social and doing the re-hitching ceremony would be so much fun for your kids to see! Here is a thread about the ice-cream social. http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...e+cream+social

How about a night carriage ride at Port Orleans - Riverside. They are only about $30 but very romantic and you could take the kids to one of the kids clubs maybe. But I like the idea of CRT for Dinner while viewing the fireworks!

Where ever you go and whatever you do, MAKE SURE to tell them you are CELEBRATING your anniversary! They will make it special. I have heard of all kinds of things from cakes to free champagne glasses! We had a cake (not a cupcake) with ribbons, hats and horns in our room for my mom's & son's birthday last trip. Just because it was mentioned at check-in.

I'm curious about that...is the viewing any good from CRT? I mean, I understand it's right where the fireworks are, but it seems like the view would be limited. ??

Kimberly: DW and I were able to do just that a year ago. We had a window table at the last seating for CRT and as we lazily (and warmly) sipped our Cappucino's, we got to watch the show out the window. What made the event even better was that two adorable pre-school young ladies from the next table asked to share our table we we got to watch the show thru their eyes as well. It don't EVER get any better than that!!!:) :)

Oh, WOW, that is so cool!! I get goosebumps just thinking about it. I'm going to write out a list of PSs to make, and a "fireworks seating" at CRT is definitely going at the top of the list. Thanks for sharing!!! :D
