°O° Happy 75th Birthday, Mickey Mouse! °O°

Gang, just thought we should all take a moment and celebrate the 75th Birthday of the main Mouse himself, Mickey.

For 75 years now Mickey has been a part of our lives, indeed he's probably older than most of us here on DC. Without his presence we probably wouldn't all be here chatting. Without his trademark grin and unique, global appeal, there would be a lot less joy in the world...

And as we all know, it all started with a mouse. Not just A mouse. THE Mouse. One of my absolute favourite quotes from my favourite Disney character, Walt Disney himself, I think sums up Mickey the best, and is a pretty darn good life philosophy at that.

It's not easy to become well known all around the world when you're flesh and blood, let alone lead on paper (or, acetate, as it were).

May we live another 75 years with Mickey Mouse. And at least another 75 after that.
