Happy Birthday Walt!!
Happy Birthday to Walt Disney!!:D
Walt would be 102 today if he were still alive. My DW has become a huge fan over the past few years (I wore her down!). She called to remind me about his birthday and to say that we are having Birthday Cake tonight!:laugh And I am not kidding, my DW is making a homemade birthday cake as I type. Not a bad idea of how to spend a winter night!!

Wishing Walt Disney HAPPY BIRTHDAY also. What a wonderful man to have shared a dream with us and made such a Wonder World for all of us to just go to and leave all of our troubles behind and become a kid again. God Bless Walt Disney. We love you.

Happy Birthday Walt! You have meant so much in my life (no grandpa, I can't go with you to Disneyland, I will miss the Mickey Mouse Club on TV~~and no I am not kidding!):)
So my point is (besides pointing out I am very old) is that he has been part of my life since childhood, and helped (in a good way) develop me into the person that I am. Thanks!:) |

Well, I've got two reasons to celebrate.
Aside from Disney's Birthday (happy birthday, Walt), today is (was) my maternal grandmother's 102nd birthday,also (she was born the same day as Walt!). Unfortunately, she lives in Puerto Rico and we don't get to see her/ talk to her as often as we should. But the last time I saw her (about a year ago), I told her how much it meant to us that she'd reached her age, and she went on to say that she's always thinking of us - she's still a sharp mind at that age. mind you. Just thought I'd share :-)
