mickaholic4077, we bought the monorail at one of the Stores in MGM, then ohh 2 years ago .. I got him the Contemp at Epcot. This past year I saw extra tracks, but what I didnt see was SSE or The Poly.
Main Street Megastore has the poly but I am waiting to see if I ever get my other orders from them before I purchase anything else.. my card has been charged for the first order (POC DVD and his Monorail pilot castmember pin) I sent them a letter snail mail yesterday because I wasnt getting any where emailing them from the webpage and there is no number :(

The momorails are all over WDW.

We got my DS's momorail at the CR. They had a beautiful display out in the lobby between the two gift shops on the 3rd floor outside Chef Mickey's). My DS fell in love with it as soon as he first saw it, we waited until the end of the week as to use it as a bribe when needed. He got the monorail, the CR (since we spent so much time there between Chef Mickey's and catching the monorail there after the boat ride over from WL), the switching station (way cool!!), extra track, and for Christmas he is getting some of the rides (I can't remember for sure which ones but I know one is Dumbo) from the park to put in the middle of the tracks. I even ordered 2 more boxes of track after we got home because the switching station needs LOTS of track to use all 3 switches/tracks.

I may have to see about putting his around the tree. DH is gonna love this!!:whistle:

OMG-Tinkerbell and BDavis-they look so great!! I'm so excited, because this is what we got my DD for Christmas!! When we were at Disney in Sept, she wanted the castle real bad- I tried to explain to her we could buy it and ship it home-she wanted it NOW. She threw a little fit and Viola...no castle. So, we wrote a special note to Santa, asking that maybe he could go to FL before he came to MA and pick it up for her.....HE IS GOING TO!!! We got the castle, the monorail and the switching station, and the Poly, since we stayed there last year. I can't wait to play with it with her!!!

Tink-you can order the Poly from WDW merchandising. there # is 407-363-6200. It was $40.00

BDavis-did you get my PM about the pictures? I hope so, if not let me know.

This is such a cool idea!!! I have never thought of doing this. Now I have a good reason to buy a monorail next time we are in WDW.

I would try if I were you, however, in my experience WDW merchandising is very slow. I think it would take at least 2 weeks. What about a birthday coming up?

That is the coolest thing! And it talks too! Where at DW did you buy it? I have never seen one in the gift shops, but I don't spend too much time in them because I am always go...go...go!

We saw the monorail in several gift shops. We got ours at the CR. There was a nice display outside Chef Mickey's between the two gift shops. It was all set up with every piece nicely displayed and working. It all looked so wonderful. My DS fell in love with it the first night we were there and we waited until about the end of the week to finally buy it. He got several pieces in July and will get a couple more from his wonderful grandparents for Christmas.

I am not sure now all of the places we saw it but it was not rare to see it. It wasn't always nicely displayed but it was out there if you look for it. I am sure you won't have trouble finding it.
