I think it depends on the time around easter MickeyRon .. the 2 weeks before and after tend to be more crowded. We went in April of 2002 and the crowds were not too bad and the weather was nice too.

We've gone in april twice. The weather is beautiful. Not too hot. Nice and sunny. Check out when Easter is in 2004, and try to avoid the two weeks around it. We went in the first week of April and although it was more crowded than late fall or winter, it was still very manageable and we had a good time.

Me again. Easter is on April 11th. My advice would be to plan for the end of April. Spring breaks and Easter will be over, lots of kids will be gearing up for final exams, and the weather will be perfect. Just MHO.

We are going to arrive on April 30 for 10 days. We tried to target mid-way between the spring breaks and "schools out" and still have it warm enough to enjoy the "wet stuff". :D :D :D

So arriving on the 23rd??? is that a good plan... we would be going for 5 days... I really want to try to have low crowds... would it be better to wait and go in the fall???

I would say that the 23rd would be just about right. We have gone in the Fall (right after Labor Day), and really didn't notice that much difference in crowd size between that and April.

How awesome is that!! Okay... so now the hard decision... on site or off... Or do I buckle down and just buy into the DVC??? hmmm... this is tough... I was really missing Disney today and I was reading Birthday trip reports... and DD's birthday is in April... would be so much fun to take her during her b-day! Wow... So much planning!!

On site Ron! You have to stay onsite this time around. You will love it. April is cool if you stay away from Easter. I did Easter week once...once and never again...too crowded for me. Like Llama said the end of April will be ideal.

End of April would be great crowd-wise. Nice weather, too. The Flower & Garden Festival will be going on at Epcot which is gorgeous.

I agree with staying on-site. If you don't want to buy into DVC right now, consider renting points to check it out!

Can I pick? All Star's Movies for our First-timer. He has little ones and they will love this great resort. Try to get the 100 Dalmations building.

I've got to be there April 21st for a family thing, and might be there the week before to meet up with friends. Was there late last April for a different event. And in the first week of May for many visits prior. Weather was great. Not disgustingly hot. And even though we only went to Epcot for one day, the crowds were very manageable.

I hope you get to enjoy the parks your way this time!:)
