NASCAR fans?

Hey guys, this is really a two part question. First, I was just wondering if any of my fellow DisneyCentral pals were NASCAR fans. Second, I've often wondered why Disney doesn't sponser a car in NASCAR. NASCAR is the fastest growing sport in America, and NASCAR merchandise out sells every other sports merchandise available. It just seems to me that it would be very cool to see Cinderella's castle on the hood of a NASCAR car...What do you guys think?:D

That seems like a great idea DisneyHog6! My boyfriend is a huge Disney freak like us and he loves NASCAR! His favorite is actually Tony Stewart. But anywho, that would be awesome to have a Disney decorated NASCAR! Maybe somebody here knows somebody at WDW to mention it to them..........:o

While I'm not a NASCAR fan, I did have lots of fun at the NASCAR Cafe in Myrtle Beach SC. The race tracks were so much fun. They should build one in Downtown Disney or at the Disney sports complex.

Dewey...I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Disney eventually gets into EVERYTHING! ;)

Let's see I am 26 and my first Daytona 500 was in 1985! I remember when some races weren’t even on TV, but on radio. I worked at Daytona USA before we moved to Orlando. Nascar rules! (my wife hates it though) :D

I'm not sure about this! I would never get my boyfriend out of there! We'd end up spending our whole trip there! He's crazy about NASCAR, but maybe I'd be able to get him out of there and into the parks! :dazed :wow:

I am a HUGE Mark Martin fan, so after his win at the Coca-Cola 600 last night, I'm on cloud 9!

I really think it would be cool if WDW sponsered a car though. I know I would cheer for it as long as as Jeff Gordon or Kevin Harvick didn't drive it...:laugh

Dawn, I did hear that you were a NASCAR fan, I also heard that a very cool guy introduced you to NASCAR...:D

Indeed, that was a great win! It was awesome when he spun through the grass after the race!

You can say that again. If he keeps running as well as he has so far this year, he has a chance at the Winston Cup Title. Here's me hoping...:D

I am quickly becoming a NASCAR fan..my husband is all about NASCAR, a huge Dale Earnhart Jr. fan..A Disney sponsored car would be awesome! Went to NASCAR cafe/store in Vegas, saw Dale Sr's car!! Maybe a NASCAR ride at the big "D"? :hmmm

I actually liked the NASCAR Cafe long before I even thought of following the sport. It's a well-themed fun place. Gotta love it.

On the topic of NASCAR, let's vow not to ever discuss all of the horrid luck that Kenseth was hit with this past weekend. :(

My family and I are huge Nascar fans. We were Dale Sr. fans through and through,but when he was killed in Daytona we became Dale JR fans.Go #8 yeah baby
