Just wanted to thank Cowboy Mickey and CeltiaCat for remembering me on their recent trip to WDW.... That was incredibly thoughtful of you and I :heart love the Tinkerbell Magnet... its holding the pic of you two on my fridge as we speak! (Just disappointed CM wasn't in his kilt! ;)) I thoroughly enjoyed your letter and can't wait for the trip report.

Glad you liked the letter Anne, was getting a bit worried that none of the ones we posted were getting through...the CM at WL was not sure about postage rates for anything that wasn't a postcard...hopefully others will get theirs shortly then.

Now, about me and the kilt...I was trying to think of a way of connecting me in a kilt with Disney, but was stumped, until CeltiaCat had a brilliant idea of linking it all in....

So....

Okay, as you'll know by now, CeltiaCat and myself have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the WL. As is my want, I tend to take lots of pics of things, so for starters here is a picture of a cosy nook, which is on the 5th floor of the lobby in the WL, over the stairs. It's got a lovely fireplace and a comfy sofa...in fact this is kinda appropriate coz the letter(s) were written here...

All will be revealed...

We're getting there...

Okay, on the wall of this wee nook is a painting of Yosemite Valley, in California. Yosemite Valley is where CeltiaCat and I got married back in 2000. To be precise, if you see the waterfall on the right hand side of the painting - this is called Bridalveil Fall - in the woods near the base of this is were we held the ceremony itself.

Now, this painting will have been done from a location high up on the side of the valley known as "Artist Point" - see, another link to the Wilderness Lodge...

Okay, so finally we arrive at the (Artist) Point of this nonsensical rambling. And all to see a pic of some bloke in a skirt.:hmmm

So, remember the waterfall from the previous post? Bridalveil Fall? You do? Good, you're still with us then...

Anyway, this photo was taken from just below the location known as Artist Point, and the waterfall on the right hand side, is, indeed, Bridalveil Fall. And that's me in the kilt, with of course the delectable CeltiaCat by my side...

Anyway, completing the previous story...the icing on the cake at the wedding was, well, the cake. See below!

PS - And the weird thing? Two of our friends who were there, Gary and Emma, knew nothing about the cake toppers, and presented us with the plush Mickey and Minnie on the big day...is it that obvious that we're Disney fans?;)

Today I got a Sorcerer (sp?) Mickey magnet, a beautiful letter and a picture of Cowboy and CC. You have made a 30 year old woman feel like a little girl.....tears and all:cry: Mickey was peeking out of the envelope when he arrived. Thanks so much for thinking of me and Sara.
