Reminder to those w/young children!

This is just a reminder for those of you parents out there with young children. The Harry Potter movie comes out tomorrow (Tues. May 28) to rent or buy. I know it's not Disney, but it was a huge hit with the younger crowd. I know we're planning on buying a couple of copies!:D

If I bring home this DVD I'll get another lecture on how "evil" Harry Potter is. I might still buy it anyway!

For any of you who are intersted, I found the cheapest place online that you can buy the Harry Potter DVD. It is 17.89, with free shipping at Deep Discount DVD.

It is also available at Amazon for $19.99 plus shipping.

Has anyone found the secret scenes yet (I think there is 18 steps to finding them on DVD). I wonder if the secret scenes are the same on the video as they are on DVD?

Michael Darling...I have heard so much about this being so evil :devil It's funny because it's really no different than Disneys Halloween Town....and Halloween Town Kalabars Revenge. Tell anyone who gives you any problems to kiss your Toad. :D

I think you can go to one of the websites on the menu for the DVD and it tells the steps, but we're having problems when we go to Diagon Alley. The computer freezes and won't let us tap on the wall. I'm getting really frustrated with my computer lately. I'll look it up again and pm you with it.

Here are the Steps I found

For anyone who needs help, here are the steps I found. Hope this doesn't ruin it for anyone.......Goofette
HOW TO FIND HARRY POTTER SCENES
NEVER SHOWN IN THEATRES
1. From the Main Menu go to Diagon Alley (Choose the owl).

2. Enter Diagon Alley by selecting the correct bricks in clockwise order. (Keep at it. If you make four mistakes, the door will open for you anyway.)

3. From Diagon Alley, choose the key on the bottom of the Gringott's Bank sign. (Down Arrow from Gringotts)

4. In Gringotts Bank, select the coins.

5. Go back to Diagon Alley.

6. Go into Ollivander's.

7. Select a Wand Box (any will do).

8. Wait for voice over to end then select a second and third wand. After the wand chooses you, you will automatically return to Diagon Alley.

9. Go back to the Main Menu. (Arrow Button)

10. Select the Hallway to Classrooms (The wand on the table).

11. In the Hallway to Classrooms, go to the Cat (Transfigurations), then hit the down arrow.

12. The two owls on the pedestal will highlight. Now hit enter.

13. The "H" will highlight. Now hit enter again.

14. This will take you to Fluffy (three-headed dog).

15. Select the Flute. This will take you to the flying keys.

16. The correct key is two up and one to the right from the back arrow button. If you don't select the correct key, the narrator will ask you to try again. If you continue to miss the correct key, the keys will all begin to move. The correct key (if you miss four times) will become the largest key on the screen. You can't miss it.

17. Next you will land in the Potions Room. Select the yellow round bottle in the back. This will take you to the Mirror of Erised.

18. Select the Stone in the Mirror of Erised and you will be able to see scenes never shown in theatres.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE JUST FOUND YOUR HEART'S DESIRE!

I actually think it's kind of cool....but you need to be an Advanced Dungeons and Dragons player to get into the extra sections. I've heard the non-Disney (gasp) Special edition of Memento also have special areas that require significant logic to uncover.
