Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
For those of you who haven't been to the Walt Disney One Man's Dream attraction in Disney-MGM Studios. Heres a little tidbit of history you might like to learn.
Before the idea of Mickey Mouse came into perspective, Walter Elias Disney had come up with the character Oswald the lucky Rabbit. You can kind of see the resemblence in the face of Oswald and Mickey. Well because of copyright problems Walt lost Oswald and then brought our friend and Disney icon Mickey Mouse and the whole gang to life. Wow. I knew Mickey was originally named Mortomer Mouse, but thankfully Mrs. Disney convinced Walt to change it. I never knew that he really started out as a lucky rabbit. Thanks for the trivia.
