Attention Scrapbookers...*NEW* WDW pages available!

Just went on a day trip yesterday to the world! We hit the monorail resorts and hit the jackpot at the Contemporary gift shops. We also went to DTD scrapbook store, and feel that the Contemp. had more of a selection available!! Of course we shopped at the resorts and DTD!

They had 12x12 page/sticker kits for:
Disney couples with Disney's fairytail Wedding stickers!!!
Lion King set for animal kingdom
Rollercoasters from around all the parks (TOT, RnR, Test Track and others),
Gradnight 2003 & 2004,
cheerleader kits,
baby winnie the pooh kits,
OH, and also pages and stickers kit for *just* the different restaurants!! cape may, chef mickeys, cyrtsal palace, all in one set!
and I'm really upset that i already did my ds 8th bday trip, because they have a disney birthday set too!!

All 12x12 kits were $15.00 plus tax. (I only got the Lion King set this trip)

There were the regular princess ones and all 4 parks sets too! Also, they now have a new punch, one of the Castle! I talked my sister into getting it....and I'll just borrow it!;)

At the world of Disney at DTD, they had some pretty cool stickers that I didn't see anywhere else! One the had fireworks that "light up!" I like their new photo albums too for 2004! Fireworks over the covers! I'll have to save up for one of those on my next trip!

I also like the new "tape". It's really cheap for only $4.00 a set I think, different colors with Walt Disney World on them. Another set with Goofy, Mickey, Donald and Minnie I think. You an use this for boarders on pages!

Ok, whos up for a trip to shop at WDW???

Tiggerlover.... There are some inexpensive books available that can teach you to scrapbook better. They have a lot of neat ideas & tips. Also, check with a local scrapbook shop. Sometimes they offer inexpensive, or free, classes that teach you how to become a scrapbook expert.

Goofgal....Thanks for this valuable information. I will share it with my DW! She loves to scrapbook and does some really nice work. I shoot a ton of pictures when we go to WDW each year, so she usually has up to 150-200 to work with. She also gives me ideas of what she is looking for each day in the way of photo's so I can shoot extra shots, and get the right ones for her. Thanks again! :D

Don't scrapbook? Like the look? Don't have time? check this out: http://www.provocraft.com/products/qwikit/index.php

I *love* their flip books - I make my page, slide it into the pocket protectors, then stick my photos into one of the little flip books and adhere it to the protective page. I *hate* throwing photos away, so it's not only a good resource for newbie scrappers, it's also a good resource for photoaholics...

Castle punch, huh? How big is it? Do you konw the item number? I can feel another phone call to Disney Merchandise line coming on... :D

that's alright - I found a bunch on eBay. It looks like the same size as my Mickey ones, which I use once in a while. It looks *wicked* cool! I have this sudden urge to scrapbook again... thanks!:p

I always pick up something for my scrapbooking projects. I was able to get a great kit with a halloween theme during MNSSHP. I looked for a holiday themed on to coincide with MVMCP. But didn't find one. I wish they would come up with a resoprt theme also. I have a day trip planned for 1/25 and will check the new merchandise out. Thanks for the tip.

I just love all the scrapbook stuff Disney has to offer these days. I spent a ton when there in December and now sounds like they have all new stuff now! Just more for me to buy on the next trip :)

I know, now I just need to find the time to scapbook again!! I have all the stuff I need!!

I didn't see one for MVMCP, but there was a Chritmas kit that I bought. It's really cute!

I'd like to have a kit for the different resorts too! We'll see what they come up with next!!

they just launched a series of mini kits around some of the more popular restaurants, like Crystal Palace, etc. Resorts are not too far behind, I hope. I certainly passed along my feedback. :D

Thats one thing they lacked with all the new big kits...the mini kits!!(the ones with just the stickers, and small cut outs. They only had the old ones available. My sister wanted to get a small kit to go with her big wedding one, and I wanted one to go with the Lion King, but they were not in any of the stores we looked at.

First, what is DTD ? I know what TTC is, but not DTD.
I was in DL last month and they really didn't have much for scrapbooking. Although I did buy what they did have.

BTS - Welcome!

DTD is Downtown Disney. The shop is where the old bookshop used to be, and right across from the Christmas shop. it's loads of fun, and if you're real nice, they might hand you some samples. :D

Hmm, you must be talking about WDW, because in DL, the Christmas shop is in New Orleans Square. and there wasn't a book store.
Although I didn't look at DTD this last time I went. I should have.
