Elapsed time at Disney

A student teacher at my school gave the kids a wonderful Disney activity. She posted maps of the parks and had them plan which attractions to visit and how much time would pass from attraction to attraction. They had to figure walking time and wait time. I was walking down the hall and did a double take when I saw the DW maps posted on the wall with their schedules! So cute and of course the students loved it and a few of them shared Disney stories!!:)

I think that's a wonderful activity for the kids to do!! I think the next time I'm at Disney,I'm going to grab a few maps of the different parks and try to work up an activity like that for when I need something to do with kids when I am subbing.

When we went to EPCOT last month, there were allot of students walking around. In the World Showcase they were doig some kind of scavenger hunt that their teachers gave them. Now that is a good way to get the kids to really look at the pavilions in the World Showcase.

What a wonderful field trip! There is so much to learn at Epcot if you can slow down enough to really read the information and look at things.;)
