looking for ideas
I would like to pull off a nice simple sweet surprise for my DH this WDW trip. So I thought I would turn you all for some ideas .. mostly I would like to hear what the men would like as a surpise. or any cute sweet surprises you ladies have managed to pull off. Something simple .. doesnt have to be anything romantic .. ooo and not too expensive either please.

As soon as I read this this I thought "IllumiNations cruise"...then you said not too expensive. The cruise is $120, that's pretty expensive, I need to think about this.
What about a cool meal at a restaurant you don't always go...'Ohana, maybe. Have you been to Mickey's Backyard BBQ? Both of these places are fun and under $80 for 2 people. Are you looking at doing something with the girls too? Something more family style? Rent water mice with the girls?? Can your DH get in one of those little boats? They are a blast.

how about the recommittment ceremony at the Garden grille in the Land We did it in October and my dh was so suprised but loved it to death He said that was the second best thing for him on the trip . The first one was when he suprised me with a recommittment ceremony with GOAL by the way you could either eat the lunch or do the ice cream social so its not too expensive

the garden grill is one of our favorites .. I had wanted to do the rehitching last year .. I didnt know you could do it during the lunch though.
actually DisneyTeacher ..that cruise ..is that per person? because that sounds good too.. and I like the idea of the clings on the mirror of the room, specially if I can pick up some heart ones right now or on sale right after valentines :)

The best thing on my last trip was my DW taking my picture with Pocohontas. I was taking a picture of our 2 DSs with her and my DW made me get mine taken. She had to keep forcing me to get with Pocohontas:whistle: . I was not a big fan of this character before, but I am now.:D
What kind of things does your DH like? I like games and video games, and my DW took me to Disney Quest last year. Had a great time.

I forgot what she got me for this next trip. I like looking for hidden Mickeys, and she bought me a book that is written as a scavenger hunt for hidden mickeys. It is great, and cannot wait until the next trip to use it. It is set up so that there are different games for the different parks and there are hints to help. Then if you still cannot find them, there is a section to go to that tells you exactly how to find them. I will probably use that section a lot.:laugh

lol he had his picture taken with Pocohontas lots of times :) if there is a female character he is in line for his picture with them. no he isnt a huge fan of video games. what does he like ..food and inter-acting with the characters, finding something to tease our DGD about ...like how Minnie loves him more then she loves Mickey *grin* oh and the water mice .. no .. I dont think he could do that :( he couldnt even handle the *fake* waves on the Pooh ride last August.
