Who wants to see Space Mountain with the lights on???

I remember a few people were looking to see this and I came upon a bunch of pictures online today.

HOW COOL! I'm glad I did not see that back in 1976!! I would have never got on the ride!

I don't know what I was expecting, but man that is a lot of steel!

That is insane! That's one of those things where you are better off not knowing...kind of like the ingredients of a hot dog. What you don't know can't hurt you.

Very cool pictures. I always wanted to see what it looks like in light. I like it better with the lights off I think...add to the mystery of the ride.

Great pictures!! When we were at WDW in July we went through Space Mountain on the WED Way and were lucky enough to see it with the lights on. Very cool in person.

My little sister was in line once and the lights went on... till this day she claims that she was traumatized. It is still her favorite ride though.

I still call it the WED way, now it is called the TomorrowLand Transit Authority. It was my DS's favorite ride in all of WDW, I bet we rode it 10 times during our stay.

I thought it was the People Mover before the TTA

Great photos! Thanks for posting the link. I, too, was lucky enough to ride the people mover through one day when the lights were on, but I was too young at the time to realize how rare a sight I was seeing.

Now if only someone could fulfull my lifelong quest - to see the inside of (you'll never guess which ride!) the Tower of Terror with the lights on. I've always wanted to see how everything in there works.

Cool... that was one of the rides I remember from 1976...

Boy... I can't wait to get back... we had so much fun in October... It snowing and very cold out... I can't wait to get back... *daydreaming about disney*

Those were great. It is kinda intimidating to see all that steel twisting and turning. I'd love to see the same type of photos of the RR in MGM.
