Creative things to do between trips
Since my next trip isn't for almost a whole year, I was wondering what others do to keep the Magic alive for the time in between trips. Since plans have been made recently, the conversation in my family has been dominated by "Trip Talk", ranging from everything including places to eat, when we will go into the parks, what rides to take my 2 little ones on, what Character Meals to attend, when to sleep...or not...etc., etc. This is nothing new as it will be somewhere over the 15th/16th time there.
One idea I had was to periodically browse e-Bay for WDW related items. What's yours?:)

PiratesFan, welcome to DisneyCentral! Nice question, and my answer would obviously be running DisneyCentral. Our other activity is to watch all of the Disney videos we have ordered through the years. It is fun to watch the changes and it gets you excited about going.

Now that you mention it, I have experienced the urge to watch the videos of our last trip. Something I will definitely plan on doing. My wife has a renewed interest in buying more photo albums to accomodate the remainder of the photos (18 rolls worth). I am so glad that I found Disney Central. Expect to hear from me lots! :D

I watch all the videos i have ordered, and spending time on websites like these helps the transition. I want to video some of my next trip, because i think that would be the ultimate video to watch in between trips. Listening to disney music also helps.

Thanks to their availability on Video and DVD, now is as good a time as ever to take in the whole Disney experience while you await your next trip. Try watching all of the movies (available) in order - from Snow White to Atlantis. If you watch one a week, you will certainly make it through the year.
Do a Disney movie weekend. Buy Leonard Maltin's book or obtain a list of the release order of the movies, and talk about how Disney's style evolved from the '30's to the present day. You will enjoy seeing how familiar animation styles and familiar voices pop up every now and then. And you will gain a greater sense of the history behind the company, and the man himself! It's a great learning experience for one and all. And don't forget to throw in the occasional Silly Sympony or Mickey cartoon! :)
