Well, DC'ers, My family and I saw Miracle in a sneak preview last Saturday night. Here is my review:
I thought it was a good movie, but found it very confusing trying to follow 20 characters (the team) and keep them seperate. Kurt Russell still looks good, and his characters homelife and how he related to his wife and family were interesting.
Don't leave before the credits roll!

Would I go to see this movie? Yes.
Would I go see this movie twice at the theatres? No.
Would I rent it when it comes out? Yes.

My MIL was with us, and she thought the skating at the end was too fast to watch, but the rest of us thought it was fine.

I thought the intial set up was good too. I remember many of the events shown:whistle:

Having lived through the real thing,I don't know if I would go to see the movie. I don't think Kurt Russell looks anything like Herb Brooks.

Hmm, it's a Disney movie, and it's about hockey. The only thing that could make it better is if it was about Team Canada. First country to double-gold in hockey, oh YEAH!

Ah, to have fun with some flames...actually, I have to tip my hat to that very U.S. team. They had heart, which counts for a lot in hockey. Baseball and basketball - one can buy a championship, but hockey, if you're not hungry, you are NOT going to win.
