Disney lost 2 Cast Members this week

Hey guys, I just heard some shocking news while watching the 5:30 local news in my bedroom. A report has just come in from Walt Disney World, saying that at the end of the Share a Dream come true parade in the Magic Kingdom today, a Cast Member was crushed between 2 floats in the backstage area and was fatally injured. He was in a costume, they didn't say which character. I think the CM was a male. They showed the image from a helicopter hoovering over the park. I rushed to the computer to relay this information to you, and while trying to find an article of the report (which isn't out yet since the accident just happened 2 and a half hours ago) I found a article about a Disney Artist named John Hench, he was 95 years old and he died Sunday in Burbank. He was a Senior vice president at Walt Disney Imagineering and worked with the Disney company for 64 years. He worked on Fantasia, Dumbo, Peter Pan, the Three Caballeros and Cinderella. So much is to be said about this man that I can't write it all, instead here's a link to an article: John Hench . I'll try to find an article on the Magic Kingdom situation later today, maybe by then a report will be out to post. I just wanted to keep you guys informed and let you know that Disney lost 2 great Cast Members this week. Please pray for thier families.
Joe:)

I have a correction to make. I guess at the trime I heard the report it was so new that my news station didnt get the facts straight. The CM was run over by a Float, not crushed between to of them. Sorry if I confused anyone with this differing report!:dazed . It's still a tragedy to the WDW family and the CM's as well.

My DS from St. Pete called me to tell me about the float accident. He said the CM had been with Disney for a long time and had started out in park clean up. He also said he was in a Pluto costume. This is so tragic to me and I am sure the all the CM are upset over it.
