Did ya catch the Eisner "zingers" at the Oscars?

I applaud Robin Williams who spoke as Minnie Mouse with a French accent of all things, hahahaha. :p

He said,as Minnie, something along the lines of, "If Eisner keeps this up, all he'll be left with is a few Muppets and a water slide!"
...referring to the Pixar split.:laugh

Also, in his intro. Billy Crystal said something similar about Eisner vs. Roy Disney ...and not in Eisner's favor, either. It was great!

Did you catch it?
I know I'm off on the quotes a little.

I saw that and was cracking up! Maybe Eisner will get a clue, but I am not counting on it!

Amy, that was so funny. I taped it, so I was able to go back. You know what's really weird though.....I always use closed caption because I have a hard time hearing, and when it said the part about Roy Disney vs Eisner, it CC saying Disney vs pixar...I rewound the tape and sure enough, that's what it closed caption as. I'm not sure what that was about. I thought Billy Crystal was GREAT!!! I had company and in the beginning when he did his skit, we both were laughing so hard. Especially "Gollum"...I think he does a great job at hosting the Oscars. :laugh

I think it was amazing that these things got through, because of the time delay and the fact that ABC is Disney-owned.

Paula that is so interesting about the closed caption discrepancy. HMM did Robin change it after it was written and no one "policing" caught it?

I thought it was strange too. I watched the show (not all of it, only Billy Crystals part) again last night, I thought he was hilarious. And sure enough, it popped up "pixar" on Closed Caption again, and he definately said Eisner. I don't know the odds and ends of how closed caption works, but it was showing all the acceptance speeches and things, I wonder if the person/machine/whatever it is that types the stuff out, didn't also do it on purpose. It was sort of funny though
