New guide book to read

I know some of you are WDW guide book junkies like myself and I wanted to share my latest find. It's an oldie that has been revamped. It's called the Walt Disney World Guide by Jay Fenster . It's an Open Road Publishing Guide book. I saw it today at my local Barnes and Noble and had to grab it. While my DD was trying to spend her birthday gift certificate, I headed over to my favorite section...WDW guides of course. This book is great. In it you will find the same kind of dry humor found in the Unofficial Guide and it's descriptions are AWESOME. This guy wrote on heck of a great guide. I found his humor and down to earth writing style very appealing and was sold by the opeing introduction...lol

Example : While describing the Add-on's for packages he describes the platinum like this:

The full-on bling-bling experience....

I found him very enjoyable. He has some great money saving tips and excellent restaurant and resort reviews too.

Just wanted to share.

Your welcome. It's really a good book. I was laughing out loud as I was reading through last night. This guy really has a funny sense of humor and makes the reading ever more enjoyable.

It sounds like a great one. I will have to buy it in secret. DH would kill me if he saw another guidebook laying around. I bought 2 Birnbaum's for kids...one for DD to look at the pictures & handle herself & one to use as a souvenir.

He just doesn't understand!

I am glad to know that I am not the only one to bring their kid to the book store on the pretense of his learning when I'm only going for the Disney section!! I'll look for the book this Friday night. Thanks for the heads up.

I may have or may not have promised my DD a book or two...lol Anything ot get 5 mins of peace in my WDW section. Hope you grab the book.:D
