OK, small question for you all. In the past, I really have never deleted any members, except those who did not complete the process and confirm their email address. So, I have this group of about 700 people who:

1. Have not been on the site for at least 365 days

2. Have 0 posts

So, do you see any problem deleting them from the site?

Re: Deleting members

I see no problem with deleting people who never use the site or post. If they want to come back, they can alwasy register again. Why keep people on the list if they aren't really a memeber? Makes sense to me.

Re: Deleting members

Mickey
Could you delete the “ZarSu” account, I started it at work but for some reason I made a new one “Zar” some time later at home when I started to post. And then would it be possible to rename the Zar account to ZarSu?
I would just use the ZarSu account but I have don’t really want to start my post count at 0 again. You can email me at the ZarSu account email if you want to confirm that it is me.
Now I would like to explain the reason why I would like to have the name ZarSu instead of just Zar. At work I am know as the Wizard, and am called Zar for short my everyone, and My beautiful wife is named Sue, so Zar-Su is short for both of us.

Thanks Mickey

Re: Deleting members

Hi there everyone! I just thought I should post something because I am new today and don't want to get deleted :)

I am off to DL in a couple weeks, and found your site while surfing for some info.
I am still getting my 'board legs', but you all seem so friendly, funny and down to earth.
So, hello all!

I think that makes sense. For some reason, I thought that had been done when you changed the board.

Re: Deleting members

I was wondering if you ever did that, Mickey. I have scanned the member list before and noticed A LOT of inactive members~~with zero posts. I don't have a problem with that.

Diasyd, welcome to Disneycentral. If you come to visit, and not post, I wouldn't delete you, since you do come from once and a while. Only those who have not been back for over a year would be deleted.

OK, well it looks like no one really has a problem with it. Don't be surprised when we drop down to about 2,200 members.

Re: Deleting members

No problem here. It makes perfect sense to me. If you don't post for a year, then you really aren't a member in the first place are you?

Re: Deleting members

Yeah, I don't see a problem with it either. They probably will not even notice, and if they do...well, they'll just have to sign up all over again and actually post this time!
With over 1,600 posts, I think I feel pretty safe...LOL.
