hey guys...i dont know whats up with my computer, but for peoples countdowns it shows numbers that cant be right. For instance, i just saw one that said they had 1197 days to go. I went on a friends computer and the numbers are different. Any ideas on what i can do to change it? thanks, josh

Look at your clock settings..... it sounds like you may not have the date set correctly.

It isn't the date on yur computer, because the countdown timers use the time and dtae that are on the DC Server. Sounds like a problem that you need Mickey for!!

Here you go, just copy and past this into your signature and change the dates so that they fit your vacation.

Countdown Instructions
I thought I'd throw together a somewhat easier post on countdown code instructions. I hope this helps.

To have a countdown displayed in your post or in your signature (which can be displayed and updated for all of your posts), there is a new code that can be used. This code will display an actual countdown (based on the viewer's local time). Below is an example of the [countdown] code.



This example displays the following countdown;


You can change the following:

1. May 2, 2005 4:32:30 PM EST - Date must be in the format shown above. You must include at least the month, day and year, as in May 2, 2005. You can also include
hours - May 2, 2005 4:00 PM EST
minutes - May 2, 2005 4:32 PM EST
or seconds - May 2, 2005 4:32:15 EST
2. Off to Walt Disney World - You can change the Off to Walt Disney World to read anything that you would like it to say after you leave, or the date you have inputted has past.
3. RED - The color (RED) can be changed to any color in the color list. This color will be used for the heading of your countdown (the line above it).
4. Countdown to my next WDW Trip! - Heading for countdown. This can be changed to display anything you want above the countdown.


You must copy the code above into any post or your signature as is and only modify the 4 colored areas above. Do not add any smilies or other punctuation. This code also must be entered on one line. Do not hit the Enter key at any point within this code or the countdown will not function. The system does wordwrap the code during entry which is acceptable.
Important: DO NOT REMOVE OR ADD MORE ";" CHARACTERS AS THIS IS USED TO SEPARATE YOUR ENTRIES.
