Extra features upon promotion to Big Cheese (500 posts)

I remember hearing something about extra features that DisneyCentral members get upon promotion to Big Cheese after reaching 500 posts, such as extra forums for 500+ posters only. Anyone here know about this, and could help me out?

Beats me, I have never heard of such a thing. I'm cheesy and no one let me in on any secrets. Of course, I am usually the last to know about things. LOL

The only one I know about is that after 1,500 posts, you get to set your own title. There was an error in my settings, when you got to 1,500 posts, you also saw some of the hidden forums that no one uses. That was fixed after someone notified me.

I probably should explain the forums, since I know someone will ask. There is a Trash Talking forum. That is the place posts go that get people banned. You say something naughty, you get moved over there and then put in timeout. The other one is an administrator forum, that only I and any moderators can see. That is a way for moderators to post questions to me, or other mods. Since we don't have any right now, only I can see it, and hence it is inactive.

Might not be a bad idea, having something special for those who endure through 500 posts or more. Any suggestions?

I think it's great the way it is. IMO, one of the wonderful things about DC is that Newbies are treated with the same dignity and respect as veteran posters. I think that by giving "secret" forums and feature (other than the title thing) would result in certain types of alienation. It could also result in people trying to inflate their post count by posting in ways that really don't contribute.

LOL.... Sorry 1500 Club, I was the one that pointed it out

Mickey: I LOVE the idea!! I think it should be like a "Chit Chat" Forum for maybe just the Big Chese+, maybe even there should be an additional forum for each level you go up. I don't want this to come over as discriminatory, because there are plenty of "newbies" that are my friends. I just think it would be cool, and it would also be an additional for stickng around here on DC.

I would love to hear more about this.

I agree with Matt on this one Mickey ~ this site is such an open friendly fun environment and I would hate to risk it by haveing special privliges given to those whose post count is higher.

Just my opinion...

BTW since your listening Mickey ~ can anything be done about that No posts within 60 seconds of each other....sometimes my fingers are just flying lol

I third that one!!! It drives me nuts!!! I will write a short post(like this one) and quickly surf to the next thread, and KAOBOOM the server slows me down.
