ok several people on here have gotten some strange / annoying and even some have discribed them as

really felt sinister

when someone does this .. you have choices .. you can ignore them .. actually put them on ignore .. it might be very wise to forward the pm to Mickey if it does seem sinister. Most of us old timers tend to ignore such nuts unless they cause a real problem.. but do not .. I repeat DO NOT let someone cause you an uncomfortable feeling on DC

Tink, funny, but that is the word I *should* have used to describe the PMs I got! And I know, I'm a chronic repeat offender when it comes to letting people "give me a bad feeling"...I finally told this person to go away, but I have such a hard time because I never know if it's just me being too suspicious.

I'm going to be more careful in the future.

well its not secret really that Unidid has pm'ed several people and left them feeling creeped out .. he also requested that one of us give him rlanders home email address in a thread.. while he maybe a harmless VI *pays rlander another quarter* .. he has still over stepped the line.

Tink ~ I really feel that this should be reported to Mickey. I didn't receive a PM, but maybe your's should be forwarded to him. My daughters are now members of the site, and I would hate to have to prevent them from using it if this person is abusing our home so to speak.

I didnt get one either .. and I have a feeling all those that did get them have deleted them ..but in the future .. I just want everyone to please do this, for the reason you stated .. my granddaughters are here ..and once I knew this character was sending out these odd pm's I sent the kids a pm and told them to put him / her on ignore.
we have had a good bit of fun threadjacking the one he put up about rlander's email address but the serious side of this came out when more people said that they too had been pm'ed by him/her.

As I said .. no one should be made to feel uncomfortable on DC ..its my home ..and I am southern ..and in the south you make everyone feel welcomed ..until they take their shoes off and their feet stink .. ..oh sorry .. off topic and out of chicken fries

I got two from Unidid and ignored them (I honestly didn't quite understand what he/she was talking about!) I should of forwarded them to Mickey, but just deleted them instead. Someone needs to go to timeout.

I didn't get any, but I think you all (tink, should that be ya'll )need to PM Mickey and at least tell him about it. Sounds like quite a few got these weird things. At least keep Mickey in the loop.

Okay, those are almost EXACTLY what the person wrote to me. It sounds like he was fishing around for the same information. Is he trying to find a specific person for some reason? That is so WEIRD.

I think he got testy with me a little bit, because I was suspicious so I said "Why do you ask?" and then "Why do you want to know?"

But anyway...this whole thing is so DUMB. I'm getting tired just thinking about it...
