Unread posts

Is there any way to up the time when the new posts go from unread to read?

Most times when I log on I start reading a post and by the time I end reading it 5-10 Minutes and go back to read the next one and come to find out that they all show as read and I am unable to see where the next unread post is. Mind you the whole time I never leave DC but they seem to mark as read after 5-10 minutes of being on the board. Could this time be uped to a more reasonable time, like 30 minutes. There is so much to see and read here that I hate to rush through all the boards to see what is new before sitting down and reading a long one.

Re: Unread posts

Not sure I'm understanding this right, but it may be helpful to open each thread in a new window (right click on the link). That leaves the base (New Posts) open in one screen and allows you to go back to after you read/post in each thread that's in a different window.
Is that it? Or did I not follow that?
