I am trying to stop my subscriptions via email to DC threads because I no longer have email for such purposes and the email address I used is no longer valid. DC software will not let me delete my old email address without putting in a new one.
How can I delete out my old email with out replacing it?
Currently my subscription emails are going to my obsolete email address and most likely are bouncing back to DC. (if you don't care, I really don't either, but it would be nice not to keep sending bugus email alerts and receiving rejections). I no longer want subscriptions, nor do I have email addresses for such purposes any longer.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for or not, sorry if I am wrong.

If you want to stop your thread subscriptions go to your Control Panel and select Edit Options. There is an option there to not subscribe to threads you reply to. There is also an option there to view subscribed threads--from there you can unsubscribe to any and all threads.

I can't help you with taking out your e-mail address. The rules say you have to have one, I guess that's why you have a new one to change it. Mickey will have to answer that question.

I'm pretty sure you HAVE to have an email addy listed somewhere, so that the Administration can contact you if something is wrong (password, hacking attempt, etc). I may be wrong though.

Go to "User CP" at the top of your screen, then on the left hand side it says "subscribed threads"....click there and unsubscribe to the ones you don't need anymore.

Yes, the software requires an email address. You can basically turn off any email contact from the board such as subscriptions and the weekly bulletin. It would be helpful if you have an address, even if is just a yahoo or hotmail address just for DC.
