How to resize pictures
Can someone tell me how to resize pictures? I figured it out once but can't get it to work again. If I resize in paint, I only get a piece of the pic. What other programs can be used for resizing?

Paint will work fine…. What you have to do is open your picture in paint…. Then select the “Image” pull down menu…… Select “Stretch/Skew” …. This takes a little guess work or you can do the math…..* Enter the same percentage number, that you think will get it down to size, in both the “Horizontal” and “Vertical” fields…….say 70….. * You can check the size before and after by again selecting “Image” then select “Attributes” this will show you the “Width” and “Height” of you Picture as it is now…. For posting on MB your picture will have to be no bigger than 500(Width) x 400 (Height)… and file size of no more than 100kb. For Avatars on MB your picture will have to be no bigger than 150(Width) x 150 (Height)… and file size of no more than 200kb. Ok now you have your picture a good size…. Now I would “save as” so you do not change your original picture…. I add something like “web” to the picture name so I can tell it apart from the original…….. Hope this helps

OOh! this is a good question!! I'm glad I found it! Does anyone know how do resize a pic for a mac?? Do I use Iphoto? Thanks if anyone knows!

In the dialog box that shows up click on "Web" On the bottom right hand side insert the size in pixels that you want. For posting on DC you picture will have to be no bigger than 500(Width) x 400 (Height) and file size of no more than 100kb. Hope this works for you.
