Be Careful of Links!

Just a reminder to members: do not click on any links posted by unknown or new members. You should make it a rule to only click on links from people you know and trust.

There are many safeguards in place here at MB to keep spammers from registering, but there is always a chance one may get through and post before a mod can delete it.

Please report any questionable posts or problems to a moderator by clicking on the button in the lower left hand corner of each post.

In addition to the links, care should be taken not to open private messages(PM). A couple of days ago I received a PM, not thinking about it I opened it. The message was about Budhism. Has anybody else received such a message. the sender was "einstein", I checked our members list but could not find it.

Mickey, I PM'ed you about it, did you get my email. Has anybody gotten a virus from receiving a PM, I am weary of links, but put my guard down with the PM.

That member was here last night sending the same PMs. He's been taken care of but let us know if you get any other PMs like that.

Me too.. but its not only virus' I'm thinking about.... some people can be quite crude without infecting your system. I'm glad this has been addressed, we don't need that around here.

Yes I received one from same person. Since this is my first post ever I was very weary so I just deleted. I am really glad I did-everyone here is so nice it is a shame someone would try to take advantage of that.
