Need help for my 8yo MB-er

My 8 year old recently decided she'd like to join Mousebuzz too. So, we got her all set up. I faxed her permission, and I thought I did everything I needed to do, but she still can't add an avatar (the really "important" thing to her) or post a reply . . . nothing. Who can help me figure out what I've done wrong?!

Click on "User CP" in the black bar. It's the4th one in! When you are there (in the user control panel) look to the right. Click on "edit avatar". A new window opens up, and you will see a bunch ov avatars! Click the small circle under the avatar you choose, and then click on "Save Changes" on the bottom! That should do it!

If your daughter can't post, maybe you didn't get the e-mail yet with thi link that you have to click on to activate? Hope this post helps you!

It does take some time to have an account activated because it's done personally for each account. How long has it been?

It took about a week for my 8yo's account to get activated.

Tried clicking the User Cp link. We aren't allowed to choose an avatar. It just says no avatar choosen, but it won't show us our "choices."

I haven't seen an email with a link, and it's been over 2 weeks, so I don't know. . . I just know she's anxious to be able to post, and, of course, put her avatar up.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Your best bet would be to PM mickey, he's the one who approves all new accounts.
