What do I do?
I received a strange private message yesterday from someone named einstein. It was sort of creepy. The person has 0 posts, I thought is was odd. Is there some way to report this? Thanks, Lynn

Go back into the PM section and click on buddy/ignore.
I would also forward a copy to Mickey.

DO NOT OPEN ANY LINKS THAT ARE IN THESE PMs! Mickey has been made aware of this problem as well as the moderators. Please be advised not to open any links, you never know, it could be a link to download some sort of virus. That's not confirmed information or anything, just a cautionary warning.
Thank you for making other members aware, and trust me, the problem is being addressed.

Thank you all for your advice. I did put einstein on ignore and notify Mickey. Thanks for the information. I didn't click any links either. I love MouseBuzz, although I'm not very vocal, I do love reading people's comments and advice and truly appreciate everyone's helpfulness. This is a nice place to be.

The member has been put in timeout but that doesn't mean he/she won't join under a new name and start again. I noticed that most of the members (that I know of) who got the PM had a low post count, this person is not new to the online spam.
Feel free to forward a PM like that to a moderator, we'll look at it and decide what action to take.
