picture posting
I tried posting a picture in the test forum and it worked. When I tried to put one in a post it keeps saying the file is too big. Do I need to try and reduce the picture? Help me please!

No, it is not the same picture. But, I even tried sending the same picture and it would not go either. I usually learn things on computer by trial and error (mostly error). Any suggestions?

The Quality of your picture makes the file bigger than what is acceptable, let me try something and then send it back to you.
It was 900Kb big, now I have it at 120kb. the max is 105kb, so I will resize it a little too. :)

I sent you a hi-res small one and a low-res large one. You pick, you should be able to post either. To help explain. Your pictures save as .jpg files which take up a lot of room and appear very clear. If you usee a program like Paint you can save a picture as a .gif file and it will decrease in size a lot, but it will lose it's clarity. Experiment around to see what works best. If you have a program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop you will get better results. To check the size of a file, find it in Windows Explorer and right click with your mouse, then scroll down to properties. It will tell you what kind of file it is, the size and some other data. :D
