Re: New Forum Rules

I agree with everyone.. I checked out several popular Disney sites before I made this my Disney "home". I couldn't stand the constant arguing and rude comments on the others. I think the rules and people here have made this site a great place for honest and fun information. Thanks to everyone! I'll be back planning my next trip in a few weeks! See ya reaaal sooon!

I only have one question where I must now confess my ignorance of internet terminology....what is "flame bait"???
Flaim Bait: An intentionally inflammatory posting in a newsgroup or discussion group, designed to elicit a strong reaction and to create a flame war.

Flame War: When an online discussion degenerates into a series of personal attacks against the debaters, rather than a discussion of their opinions and positions. A heated exchange. Also known as a Holy War.

I don't think I've ever seen anything *remotely* resembling a flame here.

Mickey, I don't know how you do it, but this is REALLY a great place to hang out.

I agree with you Matt.

I think credit should be given to all the great members. I think it might have something to do with the wholesomeness that comes with Disney. Disney simply brings the best out in people. It is seen in the parks and it is seen here on DC. I have meet the most caring and friendly people on Disney Central.

I can't agree with you more Jeff. Even when things get a bit tense here from time to time, the situation always resolves itself. We have a great group of Disney fans here.

I think the rules are fair. A while back, the posts were beginning to concern me.

Wow.

Like, it's been two years since anyone posted on this thread.

Mickey, I'm assuming the rules (vide supra) still apply even though it isn't DisneyCentral anymore?

That will be the extent of my legal analysis for the day...

That should tell you the last time anyone bothered to even read them. I would assume that these rules still apply to MB as they did for DC. Thanks for bumping this up to the surface so some people can take a peek at them and either review them or read them for the first time. Great thought 626.

The rules look fine to me and I'd like to thank you for the rules on grammer. Those abbreviations of sentences drive me nuts. Again, Mickey, THANK YOU!!!

Please note that Disney attraction, resorts etc abbreviations are acceptable on here to the best of my knowledge...like MK for magic kingdom. I wasn't sure which you were referring to. The ones like "R U going to MK?" are not acceptable.

I am thrilled that people are taking a minute to look at these.
