Hey everyone... You may have noticed your post count has dropped since your previous visit (I hope its not too many:whistle: ) We have had some problems with AIM signon names being pulled from the website by individuals who then contact the DC member and pretend that they know them. This happened to me today and at least 3 other members that I am aware of.

In the interest of safety of our members, I have deleted all threads with any reference to any AIM signon name of our members in order to keep this problem under control.

In doing so, it has deleted posts you may have made to one of these 3 threads. I apologize for the necessity of what I have done, but it has become a problem we needed to address.

In the future, I will create an AIM thread that will be bumped to the front page on the appropriate days as a reminder. If you wish to be included and are new to the AIM process, please PM tiggerlover1971 or myself to be added to the list. As a reminder, you should never hold a conversation with anyone that you don't know or you become uncomfortable with. If this happens, you should block the individual which will make it impossible for this person to contact you in the future.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience regarding the drop in posts, but it seemed a necessary evil in this particular situation. I think we will all agree that DC has been a very safe environment and will continue to be if we take precautions such as these.
