I was wondering if anyone has ever done the Cat in the Hat character meal at Universal Studios???? If so was it good?? It is not very expensive I was wondering who all is there??? Is it a buffet??? How was the interaction???

We haven't went yet....BUT... they just added Spiderman and Captain America to it. It's at the Confiasco Grill (near the Hulk Coaster) and it's a buffet. They can book 60 days in advance. It does require a credit card to hold it and they will bill if you don't show up without canceling. It's only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the off season (Sept when we are going) but during the summer for other folks it is on Thursdays too. It's from opening to 10:30 AM. Cat in the Hat and Grinch are supposed to be there too but I don't remember if there are any others. Spiderman is the guy we are after. :) 407-224-4012 I spoke to Amy yesterday there.

When I called they said I could only book 30 days in advance and said NOTHING about Spiderman!!! I would be glad if he were there!! They are very vague as to who would be there!!! Is the this at Islands of Adventure??? That is where I was told it would be!!!! Thanks for the number I will try again!!!

When in September are you going??? We will be at Universal on Sun 919 and Mon 9/20!!!

We're going to Universal/IOA on Tuesday the 21st and our character breakfast is on Friday the 24th. On the answering machine they have it says 60 days in advance but when I got a live person they originally told me 4 weeks to make a reservation but I pushed and made it. Spiderman and Captain America were just added in the last week or 2 so that's probably why they didn't mention it. Of course, they won't guarantee who will be there just in case. It is in Islands of Adventure near the Hulk Coaster.
